Bowater Gatineau optimized their Sludge handling both in their Main Mill area as well as in the De-inking areas. By installing our kajaaniMCA, Bowater was now able to measure, control and optimize the Sludge consistency feeding their Presses and Gravity Tables. When sludge includes Pulp, Plastic, Glass pieces
and Paper Clips, only the kajaaniMCA can measure the total solids accurately.  Not only did the Mill finally optimize the consistency feeding their presses, they also reduced the amount of polymer used (overdosing) so that they received a three (3) month ROI on their project!
