Procal Analytics Ltd. was formed in 1985 by a group of specialists with substantial experience in the development, manufacture and marketing of process analyzers and of the demands of today's industrial processes. Procal produces a range of analyzers capable of measuring, with superior performance, a full range of components on-line in aggressive environments often encountered in today's industry.

  APPLICATIONS FOR PROCAL ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS
         PROCESS          POWER

Procal Analytics have several instruments used in process analysis. Whenever possible, the analysis is done in situ, thereby avoiding the need to extract and handle a process sample. The example below is just one of many which Procal Analytics have proved to be very successful demonstrating the versatility of process analysers.
By utilising multiple wavelength and chemometric methods, it is possible to monitor components which exhibit cross sensitivity to each other.

Procal Analytics make a range of stack gas analysers to meet the continuous emission monitoring (CEM) requirements of fossil fuelled power stations. The analysers are in situ and can be automatically zero and calibrated to ensure compliance with local Environmental Agency requirements.
For example - US EPA 4OCFR Part 60 and 75.
The instruments are capable of monitoring, simultaneously, up to six components.

Continuous Emission Monitoring of Flue Gases   Example analyser ranges:
  Examples:

Chlorine and Ferric Chloride in EDC

PULSI 620:
Range 1: 50ppm, Cl2
Range 2: 100ppm, Ferric Chloride.

Gas NO range 1: 360ppm NO
Gas NO-2 range 2: 7200ppm NO
Gas NO-3 range 3: 28800ppm NO
Gas N2O: 400ppm N2O
Gas CO2: 16000ppm CO2

Range 5: 12%, H2O
Range 1: 20ppm, NO

Range 4: 100ppm, S02

Other components typically measured in power stations include hydrocarbons and NO2. The examples above are of our continuous emission monitoring (CEM) analyzers. The instruments will be calibrated to our customer's requirements, therefore the selection and ranges of the components to be measured will be dependent on the customers requirements.
